Did you know there is a game called "Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot"? Seriously.

I've been a little bit hooked on Town House crackers lately. I don't know why, but these buttery crackers have been like Ruffles to me- I can't have just one.

Okay, so at work they hired a new part-time person. I don't know her well, only see her when she's leaving and I'm arriving, or vice versa. I have no problem with her.

Except.

She's a smoker. That in itself isn't a problem, but I can smell it in the office and at the main desk now. That I have a problem with.

I am not happy about this.

Monday I had a root canal procedure done. This coming Monday I go back to the endodontist for part 2. Then I need to get a crown for it. And all of this without dental insurance. My bank account hurts more now than my teeth ever have.

You know those people who are quite nice, but drive you insane? I had to spend some time with one of those today. She's well meaning, but very different from me in personality and outlook. Yet I have to see/work with her sometimes, so must be congenial. Thus, I usually do my best to NOT focus on the niggling annoyance I feel toward her. I think it ( Read more... )

My fingernails have been light blue since Saturday morning. I'm going to try hot pink next. That was my favorite color when I was in first grade, you know.

I discovered a book today. Here, in the library where I've worked for, what? 5, 6 years.
